Chief ticket inspector Jasbir Singh was checking tickets in the Churchgate-Virar fast air-conditioned local on the Western Railway on Thursday. At this time, the passenger Aniket Bhosle started arguing with Singh. Bhosle abused Singh and shocked him. Hence, the argument escalated to a beating. In this beating, Singh's shirt was torn. Also, the Rs 1,500 they collected as fine from ticketless passengers also went missing. RPF personnel entered the local following a complaint and Bhosale was dropped at Nalasopara.

After this incident, the process of filing a case against Bhosle was started. But Bhosle accepted his mistake and wrote an apology letter. Also, Jasbir Singh's missing Rs 1,500 was paid. After Bhosale gave a written apology, the authorities decided to release him with a warning. However, the railway police registered a case in this regard.
